Rehabilitation center was founded in 2016 as non-profit charitable was registered in 2017 under societies act (SOC 76752) organization in k.m.c, Athi-river in the extreme of Machakos as the county in whole. It was started by the founder Ustadha Saadia Huka Guyo of dedicated/passionately person with the aim of helping the children affected and infected with HIV/AIDS she is also an orphan who as the golden heart for giving back to the society through help/providing for the vulnerable within his society, nevertheless she wouldn’t find it hard to have taken care of who are the vulnerable as she is who undergone the same as they are!, she is among the needy. We run the center in K.m.c main village, Athi-river, Machakos County.
Mama Saadia children’s foundation (M.S.C.F) is able to provide a small orphanage project that will provide children with a safe and stable home, education and support throughout their childhood. This will be a solution to solving the problems hidden by the fact that orphans and vulnerable children are invisible; yet by the very nature of their situation, they are included among those that are classified as disadvantaged and poor in Machakos County. In the Athi-river district like any other area of the World, there is a growing number of Orphaned and homeless children caused by HIV/AIDS and other illnesses. Findings still show that children in abject problems are recognized by rather elementary (as opposed to sophisticated) criteria. Top on the list is the absence of necessities such as shelter, food, clothing, and water. Equally important is the ‘human condition’ in terms of physical health and parental care and protection.
Saadia went to study Bs. Muslim social science in the Ummah University, but kept the dream alive of one day building a home. After further discussions and research, Ustadha Saadia she decided to contact the volunteers that had befriended during her time working at the volunteer house. Nearly everyone contacted said that it was also a dream of their own and would help out in any way possible. They formed a board of directors. They gained support and commitment from compassionate people from all around the world, and with that, the ball started rolling with the dream of MSCF.
